The Introduction

I ended up at the Valley, a mall that was somewhat close to my place and housed all my favorite haunts. I didn’t know why but I still shopped at Victoria’s Secret, and sadly my husband was not around to undress me. I guess I just kept hoping that he would stop cheating on me with his restaurants. As I walked from store to store I began to get hungry. A slice or two of pizza sounded great. I made my way to the food court and ordered my food. I left the counter and searched for a seat, the damn food court was packed. I sighed with frustration because it looked like I was going to be eating standing up when this delicious looking specimen began walking towards me, or at least I thought he was walking towards me.  I noticed that he was very well put together. The stranger had on a navy blue suit, with a chestnut color tie, and the shoes matched the tie. I inhaled deeply because he was indeed headed in my direction.  I stopped staring at him and pretended I just received a...

Boss Bitch

I thought he may have been seeing someone else but he wasn’t, believe me I checked. I sighed in frustration as I continued to lay in bed. I honestly didn’t know how long I would be able to put up with the neglect that I was enduring. Our relationship had started out so different, before the businesses took off and became successful. I knew there would be times like this but two years of no real time with my husband, and no sex was too much and I hadn’t signed up for this.  I had my own company, a very successful publishing company. It kept me busy, but I made my own hours and if I didn’t feel like staying late I had two great assistants that knew how to perform my duties if need be. I tried not to let things get me down on where the relationship was headed. I just figured that we were in a slump after years of being together.  I sighed once more and stood up, deciding that the laundry wasn’t going to put itself up. I began my “wifely” duties with a roll of my eyes and h...

Memory Lane

Nicole picked up the laundry and carried it upstairs from the laundry room. She looked around at her surroundings, and admired the home for what it was - a nice home but you could tell it was lacking love.  Jacob and I have been married for four years and we have been drifting apart for about the past two years. I have tried to keep the love within our relationship, the truth was I was getting lonely and feeling neglected not to mention horny as fuck. I tried to initiate sex and other intimate moments but he was always tired or at work late. Jacob owned five restaurants all over the city so he was busy, I understood that but he never made time for me anymore. I put away the laundry and remained lost in my thoughts about my relationship. I ended up sitting on my bed and thinking about the last time we made love. My thoughts went back to a night that was two years ago, we were leaving a party and both of us were fucked up off the many cocktails. It was a fundraiser for ...

The Act

Liam smiled at me with so much love and warmth that I began to feel at ease. I had been thinking about this moment ever since we met at the mall two weeks ago. I walked over to him and placed my hands on his bare chest - a chest that would put David Beckham to shame. We stood there staring at each other, neither saying a word -simply basking in each other's presence. If things went how I wanted them to go, there would be no turning back. My life would be forever changed. I stood under the shower in room 315, washing away my sins as I recalled what transpired between us. The man made love to my body like he had known my curves, dips, and spots for years. I frowned  when I thought of how my husband once touched me in those ways. I couldn't help but compare the two - one was inattentive and no longer cared about my needs, whereas my secret lover cared about every need I had before I had the need itself. Is this how it's supposed to be? I squeezed the shampoo into my hair an...

Prologue

Prologue It all started with room 315 I  turned my wedding ring around and around on my finger As the vows that we spoke to each other played in my mind. I thought of the love we shared; I stared at the door in front of me. Room 315 - on the other side, was the grass really greener? I stood there and thought of him... Thought of the lustful feelings he gave me, the rapid heartbeat, the giggles... That my man no longer gave me. Decisions... Decisions... I ran my fingers through my hair… Wanting to feel his fingers do the same, I put my hand on the knob and... Opened the door. I stood inside the doorway; my breathing increased. I took a couple of deep breaths and slipped my ring off my finger, placing it in the inside lining of my purse. “It's now or never pull yourself together” I said under my breath. I  walked further into the room to find the man that had put more smiles on my face and erased the moments when my neglectful  husband made me cry. This  man had made ...
